Capital Organization of Language Teachers - C.O.L.T. is a not-for-profit educational organization based in Albany, NY. COLT is charged with accomplishing the following for capital region LOTE teachers:
Provide opportunities for staff development and professional growth.
Identify the needs of Capital Region LOTE teachers.
Promote LOTE usage, the study of culture, and the integration of language and culture.
Promote and increase community awareness of LOTE.
Give recognition to students and teachers of LOTE.
Share resources, exchange ideas and create bonds of friendship.

Being a member of the NECTFL Advisory Council is a great way for you as leaders in your state to be part of the leadership structure of NECTFL. We encourage state associations to join at the “Institutional” level ($200), and/or any state leader to join the Advisory Council as an individual ($100). As a member, you will receive a $25 discount on registration, an invitation to the Advisory Council meeting and luncheon at the conference, the privilege of nominating board members and award nominees, as well as the privilege of voting in our board elections.
